MONACO, 3A.  Special event station 3A60ARM is QRV during the month of December in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Association des Radioamateurs de Monaco.  QSL via bureau.

 

SENEGAL, 6W.  Mark, AA1AC plans to be QRV as 6W/AA1AC from Somone from December 8 to 14.  QSL to home call.

 

BARBADOS, 8P.  Look for Mike, KI1U, Mike, N1TA and Bruce, K0BJ to be QRV as 8P9IU, 8P9TA and 8P9BJ, respectively, from December 9 to 16.

Activity will be on 160 to 2 meters including 60 meters and straight keys, using CW, SSB and RTTY.  They may also be active on Satellite SO-50.  They will be QRV as 8P8T in the upcoming ARRL 10 Meter contest.  QSL all calls via KI1U.

 

CHILE, CE.  A group of operators are QRV as XR150CBS during the month of December to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Santiago Fire Department.  Activity is on all HF bands using SSB and various digital modes.  QSL via XQ7UP.

 

NIUE, E6.  Operators Alan, VK4WR and Graeme, VK4FI will be QRV as E6RQ and E6SG, respectively, from December 7 to 17.  Activity will be on 40 to 6 meters, with an eye towards good sporadic-E and TEP propagation into Asia.  QSL both calls direct via VK4FI.

 

NEW CALEDONIA, FK.  Freddy, F5IRO will be QRV as FK8RO from Ouvea Island, IOTA OC-033, from December 9 to 13.  Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW.  QSL to home call.

 

NORTHERN IRELAND, GI.  Special event station GI100RSGB is QRV until the end of 2013 during the final leg in the RSGB’s centennial celebrations.  Activity is on all bands and modes.  QSL via M0VFC.

 

DJIBOUTI, J2.  Christian, F5MBF is QRV as J28NC for another two years.  He is active on 80 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.  QSL via F5RQQ.

2013 to commemorate the 1918 unification of Transylvania, Banat, Crisana and Maramures into Romania.  Activity is on 40, 20 and 15 meters using CW and SSB.  QSL via bureau.

 

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The ARRL 160-Meter CW Contest, NCCC RTTY Sprint, QRP CW Fox Hunt, NCCC Sprint, TARA RTTY Melee, Wake-Up. QRP CW Sprint, SKCC Weekend CW Sprintathon, VU International DX Contest, TOPS Activity CW Contest, EPC Ukraine DX BPSK63 Contest, AWA Bruce Kelley 1929 CW QSO Party, 10-Meter RTTY Contest and the CQC Great Colorado Snowshoe CW Run will certainly keep contesters busy this upcoming weekend.  The QRP CW Fox Hunt, CWops Mini-CWT Test and NAQCC Straight Key/Bug CW Sprint are all scheduled for December 11.

LAKSHADWEEP ISLAND, VU7. A large group of operators are QRV as
VU7AG from Agatti Island, IOTA AS-011, until December 10. Activity
is on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. In addition, VU7KA
is QRV from Kavaratti Island briefly during demonstration purposes

ALBANIA, ZA. Peter, DL4KM is QRV as ZA/DL4KM. Activity is on the

ASCENSION ISLAND, ZD8. A group of operators will be QRV as ZD8UW
from Green Mountain from December 2 to 6. Activity will be on 40 to
10 meters using CW and SSB and possibly WSPR. QSL via M0OXO.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The QRP ARCI Topband Sprint, RSGB
80-Meter Club CW Sprint, QRP CW Fox Hunt, NCCC Sprint, Feld Hell
Sprint and the SARL Digital Contest are all on tap for the next few

AMERICAN SAMOA, KH8.  A group of operators will be QRV using special
event call sign W8A from the Village of Vaitogi on the coast of
Tutuila Island, IOTA OC-045, from November 12 to 22.  Activity will
be on 160 to 10 meters using mainly CW with some SSB and RTTY.  QSL
via ZL3CW.

WAKE ISLAND, KH9.  Station K9W is QRV until November 15.  Activity
is on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL via OQRS.

PUERTO RICO, KP4.  Special event station KP4AO will be QRV from the
control room of the Arecibo Observatory on November 10 to
commemorate the 50th anniversary of Radio Astronomy Science.
Activity will be on 20 meters using SSB.  QSL via operator's
instructions.

LUXEMBOURG, LX.  Helmut, DF7ZS will be QRV as LX7I in the Worked All
Europe RTTY contest.  QSL via operator's instructions.

NAMIBIA, V5.  Klaus, DJ4SO is QRV as V5/DJ4SO until early December.
Activity is on all HF bands, with the possible exception of 160 and
80 meters, using CW, RTTY, PSK and some SSB.  He may also be active
in the Worked All Europe RTTY contest and the upcoming CQ World Wide

VIET NAM, XV.  Special event station XV2V40J is QRV until November
24 in commemoration of the establishment of diplomatic relations
between Japan and Vietnam 40 years ago.  Activity is on all bands

INDONESIA, YB.  A group of operators will be QRV as YB8V from Banda
Besar Island, IOTA OC-157, from November 10 to 15.  Activity will be
on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.  QSL via YB9AU.

TRISTAN da CUNHA and GOUGH ISLAND, ZD9.  Bani, ZS1BM is QRV as ZD9G
from Gough Island, IOTA AF-030, as a member of the 59th Winter Team
and is here until August 2014.  QSL via ZS1HF.

OPERATIONS APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operations are
approved for DXCC Credit: Yemen, 7O2A, 2013 operation; Afghanistan,

CQ-WE Contest and the EANET Sprint are all on tap for this upcoming
